This is Ken Craghill's updated list of runs that are open to non club members, and that he has been on in the past and enjoyed. Clubs are beginning to advertise their 2026 runs now:

North Manchester MGOC do monthly runs from the Spring Inn, Rochdale, see their

Sunday 12th April
MGCC S Yorkshire : Daffodil Run from Fox Valley Retail Park Stocksbridge

Sunday 19th April
Chesterfield MGOC: Shakedown Run to the Trolley Bus Museum, Sandtoft near
Doncaster. En-route they will pass Bolsover Castle, Clumber Lime Tree Avenue, the
Chesterfield Canal and John Wesley’s House

Sunday 26th April
Lancashire Automobile Club: St Georges Day Run. Starts at 10:00 from the Foxfields
Country Hotel with coffee and bacon butties before taking in some new roads and
scenery out to Marsden

Sunday 3rd May
N Leicester MGOC: Charnwood Caper from the Great Central Quorn and the end
venue being at Stonehurst Farm, Mountsorre

Sunday 17th May
Crooked Spire Classics: Tally Ho Run, from Lady Margaret Hall on the Welbeck Estate
to the brewery on the same estate

Saturday 30th- Sunday 31st May
National Kit Car Show at Malvern with our AGM on the Saturday at 11:00am

Sunday 14th June
South Leicester MGOC: Ratae Run. The Annual Ratae Run is starting from the White
Horse Broughton Astley and finishing at Burghley House Stamford, with a coffee
stop halfway. All details on the web site www.slmg.club

Sunday 21st June
Derwent Valley TSSC: Peak Run , starting from Ashbourne

Sunday 5th July
Clowne and district Motor Club: Clun Run starting from and finishing at Clowne
Community Centre

Sunday 12th July
Louth Area MGOC: Viking Run. Enjoy a 70 mile run though the Lincolnshire Wolds.
Ending at the Dogdyke Pumping Station for a riverside picnic or visit the café for
refreshments. Including a tour of the famous historic Pumping Station. In aid of local

Chesterfield MOGOC: Marcham Road Run

Sunday 19th July
Bury MGOC: 22nd Black pudding Run, a breath-taking tour of Lancashire and
surrounding lanes. Entry is £25 per car with free tea and coffee on arrival.
Participate in our bumper raffle and also take home an award winning Bury Black
Pudding. All proceeds will go to their nominated local charity.
